Ramada Inn Elkhart

Generally a good 2 star. A couple of items a little run down, but mostly good.

Overall I would say this hotel was adequate for what our group needed it for, although a little pricey and the cancellation policy is non-existent, which will deter me from staying here again when I go to a Notre Dame Football game. ...read more

For 2 stars, this hotel had plenty to offer. The two pools were well kept and our room was clean. There were nice common areas in several locations, including two computers available for guest use in the lobby. Some maintenance and housekeeping issues could have been better. Average at best. Hot tub was broken. I only stayed for one night. the morning I was checking the the maids were pounding at my door, wanting to get in. This was so annoying considering that I was checking out that morning. Night before I had an issue with the internet connection - went to ask a question related to this at the front desk, and they were clueless. ...read more

I'd happily stay at the Ramada again.

We will try never to stay here again.

Nice location off the toll road, convenient to South Bend/Notre Dame and cheaper than Mohawk, clean rooms and nice bar/restaurant, good value.

Our stay was short but pleasant. The design of the hotel was such that children played in the halls after coming from the pool and the walls being thin it was loud.

My experience was not good. The front desk girl was not professional, but had to be broken away from a phone conversation with a friend to check me in. The first room given, smelled like smoke as well as second room. The third room was decent, but marred by the experience with the prior two rooms. ...read more
